Re-KYC cycles without annoying your customers
Periodic re-verification is a regulatory reality. Done well it is invisible; done badly it churns customers. The difference is in the design.

Verify silently where you can
Most re-KYC is confirming nothing has changed. Re-run the PAN, GST or bank checks in the background against the same identifiers. If everything still matches, you are done, with no customer contact needed. Only reach out when a check now fails or a document has genuinely expired.
Ask for the delta, not everything
When you must contact the customer, ask only for what changed or expired. Pre-fill everything you already hold and let them confirm. A re-KYC that reads like a fresh signup form is why people abandon.
Give a real deadline and a one-tap path
A clear "confirm by the 15th" with a single link that opens a pre-filled review beats a vague nag. Track completion and escalate gently: reminder, then a soft limit, then a hold, rather than freezing the account on day one.
